Traditional Real Time Control approaches are designed around proprietary equipment and software that can only be serviced, maintained, and upgraded through a single provider. Rather than use a black box approach,  EmNet, LLC pursues a glass box approach. CSOnet's® validation system is based on EPA SWMM version 5 and is made available to your municipality after your RTC feasibility study is completed.  CSOnet®  can be implemented using, and/or interface with, standard hardware or software.   EmNet, LLC  uses open source databases, which enable municipalities to have full access to the data, and offers the flexibility that can be crucial when upgrading your collection system.
